JULIA LUIZA SCHAFER


Julia Luiza Schafer is a licensed Brazilian psychologist with a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. degree in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She has extensive training and clinical experience in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with adolescents and adults. She also has significant experience in mental health community-based research as a former member of the Brazilian High-Risk Cohort Study (BHRCS) research team, also associated with the Brazilian National Institute of Developmental Psychiatry for Children and Adolescents (INPD). Currently, she is working as a Project Manager of Clinical and Psychosocial Interventions in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Initiative in Greece as a member of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Global Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health at the Child Mind Institute.
