Neurologist and epilepsy specialist neurophysiologist with a master's degree from the Federal University of São Paulo and a doctorate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in this area. Currently, coordinator of the Epilepsy Program at the Paulo Niemeyer Brain Institute, professor in the postgraduate program at the Federal Fluminense University, and president of the Rio de Janeiro State Chapter of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology (ABN/RJ).
