CARLA SHARP
Carla Sharp, Ph.D., is the John and Rebecca Moores Professor at UH, where she also serves as associate dean for faculty and research in the CLASS. She directs the Adolescent Diagnosis Assessment Prevention and Treatment Center and the Developmental Psychopathology Lab. With over 300 publications, her research focuses on social cognition and psychiatric disorders in youth. She has received prestigious awards, such as the Mid-career Award from the North American Society for the Study of Personality Disorders and the Award for Achievement in the Field of Severe Personality Disorders. Her work has a translational focus and has been funded by various renowned institutions.
