HAKAN OGUTLU

Assoc. Prof Dr Hakan Ogutlu is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Accredited CBT Psychotherapist. Dr Ogutlu completed the Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2013.Afterwards, he worked as a Research Assistant Doctor at Atatürk University Medical Faculty Hospital, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and earned the title of Consultant Child and Adolescent PsychiatristDr. Ogutlu continued his career as a specialist in Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and then at Ankara City Hospital.Dr. Ogutlu completed his accreditation of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy by the American Academy of Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies and the European Association for Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies (EACBT).In addition, he is an International Diplomat of the American Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT) and the European Association for Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (EACBT). He is a member of the Board of the Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies Association.His areas of interest are eating disorders (ED), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders (AD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), major depressive disorder (MDD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), adolescence problems, childhood problems and mental disabilities.Dr. Ogutlu attended many leading ED clinics and hospitals (i.e. King's College University, Maudsley Hospital Eating Disorders Service, Oxford University, Cotswold House and Raghlan House Eating Disorders Service, Highfield Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Service, University College of Dublin, Our Lady's Children's and Lucena Rathgar Hospitals) as an observer in the UK and had the chance to work with the pioneers of the field.He practices Family-Based Therapy (FBT) for EDs and Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) for Eating Disorders.Dr. Ogutlu is also a member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Autism, Down Syndrome and Other Developmental Disorders Research Commission.He continues his clinical practice with his national and international academic studies in his private clinic.
