Child and adolescent psychiatrist, full professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad de Chile. She is the director of the Millennium Nucleus to Improve the Mental Health of Adolescents and Youths, Imhay. Imhay is a Research Center of Excellence funded by the Millennium Science Initiative, a program of the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID), part of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation of Chile. The general objective of Imhay is to generate evidence that contributes to the development and evaluation of interventions to improve the mental health of adolescents and youth in order to support the creation and strengthening of public policies.
